What we do

The International Neighbour Group organises social activities for foreign staff, Ph.D. students and International Master's Students at Utrecht University, the Utrecht Medical Centre and related research institutions.

We organise

• Day long excursions
• Evening meals
• Town walks
• Social Get Togethers
• Parent and Child group
• Dutch lessons
• Bowling evenings
• Talks 

The ING has two email lists:-

1) We have an email list with which we send out our monthly programme of activities. This is a closed list. To join it go to our registration form. Your email address has to be added in by hand and that can take a few days. Only members of the ING board may send an email using this list.

2) We have a Google Group UUING. This is an open list. When you have joined it, you can send an email to all the members (about 1200). This is used often for looking for and offering housing, bicycles etc.

The ING is organised by a Board and is supported financially by the Governing Body of Utrecht University
